Our new line of Competition 2-piece rotors significantly improves braking performance, reduces unsprung & rotational weight, and improves the aesthetics of your braking system. These are the only rotors on the market for the RC F that were race proven. They have true two piece floating design with superior materials and finishing unmatched by any product on the market today.
Front Rotor Weight: Stock (31.6lbs each), RRRacing (22.9lbs each). Total Weight Savings Front = 17.4lbs!
Rear Rotor Weight: Stock (23lbs each), RRRacing (17.3lbs each). Total Weight Savings Rear = 11.4lbs!Our Discs are made from a proprietary alloy, exactly the same specification as used throughout professional racing. Discs feature directionally curved cooling vanes, and are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. The center “hat” section of the disk is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The hat and the disc are attached with sprung pins, allowing for a “fully floating” design, and accommodation of thermal expansion and contraction between the disc and hat without causing cracking under high performance use (as is typical in 1 piece rotor, or fixed 2 piece rotor construction).
